To start off with always have the following information ready.
- Date of Birth;
- Addresses of both premises
- Home phone number
- Number where you can be reached during the day or voice mail.
- Moving Date
First have your mail redirected to your new address. Go to the nearest Post Office and fill a Change of Address Notification form, at least 2 weeks before moving. Canada Post will redirect your mail for a certain period of time and for a certain charge. For more information, click here.
If your have direct deposit for your allowances or other paiements, you must also notify the government and other agencies of your Change of Address. This way you will receive all correspondence relating to those deposits For more information, click here.
